Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus is the fragrant, silvery-green foliage without which a modern bouquet is hard to imagine. It gives an arrangement air, texture and scent, and stays beautiful for months once dried. At Flowers & Lovers we use eucalyptus in most of our bouquets in Vilnius – from classic to exotic.
What eucalyptus bouquets we make
We work with cinerea, populus, parvifolia and nicholii eucalyptus – each variety differs in leaf shape and shade. Eucalyptus accompanies roses, chrysanthemums, lisianthus and proteas, and in winter becomes the base of our Christmas wreaths. If you would like a bigger, fresher bouquet, add extra greenery. Every bouquet is wrapped in matte paper and comes with your message.
Caring for eucalyptus
Eucalyptus lasts 2–3 weeks in water, after which it can be left to dry in the vase without water – the leaves keep their shape and scent. Trim the stems diagonally, remove any leaves that would sit in the water and keep it away from direct sun.
