Extra greenery – eucalyptus and other seasonal foliage that make a bouquet bigger, fresher and longer-lasting. Add it to any bouquet and the florist will work it in so it sets off the flowers rather than hiding them.

Greenery also works on its own – a few eucalyptus branches in a vase smell fresh, last for weeks and stay decorative once dried.

Unwrap the bouquet, cut the stems at an angle and place it in clean, cool water. Change the water daily and trim the stems every few days. Keep it away from heaters, direct sunlight and fruit.
