Buttercups
Ranunculus (buttercups) are multi-layered blooms that look folded from thin paper and compete with peonies in spring. At Flowers & Lovers we make bouquets with ranunculus in Vilnius from January to May, while their season lasts.
What ranunculus bouquets we make
We use Italian and Dutch ranunculus – white, cream, pink, orange, burgundy and the rarer “Clooney” and “Butterfly” varieties. Ranunculus go well with tulips, peonies, chrysanthemums and eucalyptus, so you will find them in our spring bouquets and in the arrangements inspired by Ukrainian artist Marija Primachenko. Every bouquet is wrapped in matte paper and comes with your message.
Caring for ranunculus
Ranunculus last 7–10 days in a vase and keep opening until the last day. Trim the stems diagonally, place them in a small amount of clean, cool water (the stems are hollow and too much water softens them) and change it every 2 days. Keep them cool.

Order online – we deliver in Vilnius on the same day and across Lithuania, or collect it at our studio at J. Basanavičiaus g. 20. Ranunculus suit 8 March, Mother’s Day, a spring wedding and a birthday.
