Hydrangeas
Hydrangeas are large, lush heads that can fill a whole bouquet on their own. Blue, pink, purple, greenish or antique – they give an arrangement volume and a calm background. At Flowers & Lovers we make bouquets with hydrangeas in Vilnius – from a single large head to big premium arrangements.
What hydrangea bouquets we make
We use Dutch hydrangeas: deep blue, pink, greenish and two-tone “antique” varieties, which last the longest. The hydrangea is the base of the bouquet, while anthuriums, roses, dahlias, strelitzias and delphiniums are the accents. Every bouquet is wrapped in matte paper and comes with your message.
Caring for hydrangeas
Hydrangeas drink water through both the stem and the petals. Trim the stems diagonally, place them in plenty of clean water and change it daily. If a head wilts, submerge it entirely in cool water for 30 minutes. Keep them cool, away from the sun. More in our post about hydrangeas.
